Hawaiian Meatballs in Crockpot

This recipe is a crowd-pleaser in every gathering. It is perfect for sweet and sour lovers and an excellent option for those days where you are craving a Chinese plate but don’t want to order food. Serve them with rice, or eat them plain; either way, they will be delicious!


  • 1 pound frozen meatballs

  • 15 ounces pineapple chunks (save the juice!)

  • 1 cup green bell peppers (chopped)

  • 2 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

  • 2/3 cup white vinegar


  • In a crockpot, place the meatballs, and sprinkle over the green bell peppers and the pineapple chunks.
  • For the sauce, take a medium shallow bowl and add the pineapple juice, brown sugar, cornstarch, white vinegar, and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
  • Pour the sauce over the meatballs, and set the temperature on low.
  • Cook for 4 hours.
  • Before serving, stir the meatballs a little bit, and transfer to a serving plate.
  • Enjoy!
