This recipe is a crowd-pleaser in every gathering. It is perfect for sweet and sour lovers and an excellent option for those days where you are craving a Chinese plate but don’t want to order food. Serve them with rice, or eat them plain; either way, they will be delicious!
1 pound frozen meatballs
15 ounces pineapple chunks (save the juice!)
1 cup green bell peppers (chopped)
2 tablespoon soy sauce
1 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2/3 cup white vinegar
- In a crockpot, place the meatballs, and sprinkle over the green bell peppers and the pineapple chunks.
- For the sauce, take a medium shallow bowl and add the pineapple juice, brown sugar, cornstarch, white vinegar, and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
- Pour the sauce over the meatballs, and set the temperature on low.
- Cook for 4 hours.
- Before serving, stir the meatballs a little bit, and transfer to a serving plate.
